Lakshmi’s sacred syllables are a beacon of light—illuminating paths to success, beauty, and peace
Maa Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, abundance, fortune, and beauty. She is the divine consort of Lord Vishnu and is one of the most worshipped goddesses in Sanatan Dharma. Her name “Lakshmi” comes from the Sanskrit root “Laksh”, meaning goal, aim, or purpose, signifying that she blesses us with both material success and spiritual progress. She is usually depicted seated or standing on a lotus, adorned in red or golden attire, with four arms holding lotuses, gold coins, and symbols of auspiciousness. Elephants often surround her, symbolizing royal power, fertility, and grace.
